Get Funded

How It Works

How does getting funded with FastRoute Capital work?

You apply online, share your authority details and recent bank statements, and tell us what you want to add. We match your operation with funding partners that finance that kind of deal, you review any offers, and once you sign, the funder pays the seller or releases funds. Timing depends on the product and your documents.

Step 1: Apply and tell us the plan

The application asks about your business, your authority, your trucks and what you want to fund. Be specific: a used sleeper from a private seller, three dry van trailers for a new shipper, or hiring two drivers for peak season. A clear plan helps us look for the right funding partners from the start.

Not sure which product fits? That is fine. Describe the goal and we will help sort it out. The funding options page gives an overview.

Step 2: Share documents

Most carriers are asked for recent business bank statements, MC/DOT details, a driver's license and, for equipment, the quote, invoice or bill of sale. Larger requests may need financial statements or tax returns. Having these ready is the single biggest factor in how quickly a deal moves.

  • Recent business bank statements
  • MC/DOT number and authority details
  • Owner's driver's license and CDL
  • Equipment quote, invoice or bill of sale with VIN, year and mileage
  • List of current truck and trailer payments
  • Signed contracts or freight commitments, if you have them

Step 3: Review offers

Funding partners review your file and may present offers. Compare them on total cost, payment amount and frequency, term, down payment, collateral and any fees, not on one number alone. Requirements and terms vary by product and funder. Ask questions before signing, and never sign anything you do not understand.

If an offer does not fit, you can decline it. Sometimes a smaller first step, such as one truck instead of three, is the better move. Our guide to growing from 2 to 5 trucks covers pacing.

Step 4: Sign and put the capital to work

After you sign, the funder completes its closing steps. For equipment, that usually means paying the dealer or seller and recording its interest on the title. For working capital or term loans, funds go to your business account. Some approvals come within a day or two, depending on documents; equipment closings can take longer.

Before the truck rolls, line up insurance for the new unit, plates and an ELD. Then get it loaded. Ready to begin? Start your application.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the whole process take?

It depends on the product and how complete your documents are. Some approvals come within a day or two. Private-party trucks, specialized equipment, multi-part deals and SBA loans usually take longer. Sending all documents at once is the best way to keep things moving.

Do I need to know which product I want?

No. Tell us what you are trying to do, such as add a truck, stage trailers for a shipper or hire drivers, and we will help identify which options fit before looking for funding partners.

Who makes the approval decision?

The funding partner does. FastRoute Capital helps match your operation with partners and guides you through offers, but each funder sets its own requirements, terms and approval decisions.

Can I apply if I am still a company driver?

Yes. Drivers planning to buy their own truck can apply. Options depend on CDL experience, credit, down payment and whether you plan to lease on to a carrier or run under your own authority.
